Custom Baseline
In addition to the Baseline indicators included in the software, the NNFX Algo Tester allows you to use any other indicator of your choice. If you wish to replace your Baseline with a custom indicator, select the *CUSTOM BASELINE* option from the Baseline indicator drop-down menu in the “Indicators” section of the tester and add your parameters.
Indicator examples for the Custom Baseline option:
The only requirement of this indicator is that it shows a value over time, is placed on the price chart and is continuous. This value can be represented by a line, balls, or another symbol. It can have just one color or several colors. A Baseline might also be charted as two lines that never overlap, as in the first example below.
