A complete Trading Assistant

The NNFX Algo Trader acts as your personal assistant. It will notify you whenever your algorithm detects that a trade entry, exit or other action needs to be taken, always according to your strategy. You can place entries manually, manage open trades or change your algorithm settings in real time, or you can let the Trader do this for you automatically.

Forward Testing/Live Trading

Wouldn't it be great to have some help during live trading? Well, the NNFX Algo Trader not only makes all the calculations for you during forward testing and live trading, so preventing you from making mistakes, but also allows you to eliminate a great deal of repetitive and unnecessary work.

Backtest with Visual Mode

Would you like to see what the software is doing as it backtests your algorithm? By using Visual Mode you can easily see where the NNFX Algo Tester places each entry, exit and modification, and so ensure that the backtest is being performed as you want.

Manual/Hybrid Backtesting

The NNFX Algo Tester requires no user interaction to perform a backtest automatically but, if you want to, you can also place entries manually and perform the backtest using a combination of automatic and manual actions (Hybrid Backtesting). 

Included indicators

You can use any of the more than 75 indicators already included in the software to create your algorithm, or use your own indicators using the Custom Indicator options. The NNFX Algo Tester also includes up-to-date News Events and EVZ values.

Use your own indicators

You can add your MT4 indicators directly to the NNFX Algo Tester and use them in your algorithm. Your indicators do not need to be converted, nor is it necessary to have the .mq4 code file (the tester will work with any .ex4 file).

Automatic Trading

Your way of life may change but your trading plan shouldn't. Don't miss opportunities in the market. The NNFX Algo Trader can act whenever you are not available to do so. In addition to fully automated trading, you can configure the NNFX Algo Trader to manage open trades automatically while you retain control of market entries.

Optimizations

You can optimize entries rules, strategy rules or the indicators inputs (including levels or MAs) by giving them several different values to be tested. The NNFX Algo Tester includes 25 inputs solely for optimizing indicator parameters, and the default NNFX trading rules can all be either varied or toggled on and off.

4 Operation Modes

The NNFX Algo Tester offers 4 different operation modes to help the user create the best possible algorithm by testing one or more elemets of it in isolation or combination. The software also includes two further test options that will detect repainting indicators and weekend candles.

Detailed Backtest Report

At the end of each backtest a detailed report is produced that can be exported directly to a spreadsheet (a sample spreadsheet is provided). The report can also be automatically exported to a CSV file, which can be imported into MSExcel.
In addition, a list of all trades placed during the backtest is produced, along with a Balance / Equity graph.

All software has limitations, and it's important to us that you recognize them.

  • No software is perfect. All software can potentially be affected by bugs that can lead to erratic behavior or incorrect results. However, the NNFX Algo Tester has been available since 2019 and so far no major bugs have been found that could lead to either of these problems. Of course, you can always contact support if you do find a bug, and it will be analyzed and fixed as soon as possible.
  • Tricky rules or very complex indicators may require custom code. If your algorithm includes some specific rule, or if you intend to use an indicator in an "unconventional" way, then it may be necessary to include custom code. You can include custom code through the custom options in the indicators slots available on the NNFX Algo Tester. For example if you want to switch between two entry indicators according to a specific condition, you will need custom code. If you intend to use the NNFX strategy or variations of it then you don't need to worry about this.
  • The software has a learning curve. The NNFX Algo Tester is arguably simpler to use than block programming-style "build your own EA" programs, but setting up a custom indicator, for example, could require that you follow specific format. However, all this is clearly described in the documentation. Beginners sometimes find this tricky, but if you ever need help setting up an indicator you can contact support and we will advise you.

Yes you can try the NNFX Algo Tester software for free in two ways:

  • You can try the Demo for as long as you like. The Demo includes all the features of the Standard version with a few exceptions. First, the Demo is limited to 10 trades per backtest, and doesn't include the NNFX NEWS or the NNFX EVZ either. Also the NNFX Algo Trader (live trading functionality) is not available. To use the demo, no registration is required. Download the Demo here.

  • You can also use the full, purchased version for 14 days risk free. Under our Refund Policy you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. This is a "no questions asked refund". So you can test the software without any limitation for 14 days and if you think the NNFX Algo Tester is not for you just contact support to receive a full refund, no hard feelings.

Yes, you can. You can change the account on which you use the NNFX Algo Tester, whenever necessary, for example if your MT4 Demo account expire. To do so, fill in the form available here. After completing the form, you must confirm your email.
The process is fully automated. You can update your license as many times as necessary, however there is a 24 hour limit to prevent abuse.

Yes, you can. Note that your license is associated with your Metatrader 4 account and not with your computer, operating system, IP MT4 software registration, etc...
So you can use the NNFX Algo Tester software on more than one computer or MT4 as long as you always use the same Metatrader 4 account. However, please note that the license is personal and non-transferable. You should not transfer your license to anyone else as this is against our Terms and Conditions.

No, there is no limitation. You can perform all backtests you think necessary as many times as you want without any limit.

Yes, the NNFX Algo Tester software is currently optimized only for the Metatrader 4 Trading Plataform (MT4) from MetaQuotes. And will not work on other platforms like MT5 (MetaTrader 5), TradingView, cTrader, NinjaTrader, or any other platform.

Once your subscription is canceled you will no longer be able to use the NNFX Algo Tester software. You will still be able to use the NNFX Algo Tester software as Demo. 
You can manage and cancel your subscription whenever you want through your subscription management area.

Yes, you can pay with your own currency. Great Britain Pound, Australian Dollar, Swiss Franc, etc. are all accepted. The conversion is done automatically during payment according to your Bank's/PayPal current rates.
